Women of Woodside (W.O.W.) is a vibrant 501(c)(4) organization that has been enriching the Woodside communities for 38 years through friendship, service, and fundraising. Our members enjoy a wide variety of social activities designed to connect women with shared interests, including Book Clubs, the Out to Lunch Bunch, Wine Clubs, Supper Club, Singles. and many more.

In fiscal year 2025-2026, W.O.W.’s fundraising efforts generated $90,073.46 for local charitable and civic organizations. Since its founding, the organization has contributed an extraordinary $2,219,483 to support causes that strengthen our community.

For too many of our neighbors, an empty pantry is a real worry. Spooky to Be Hungry is coming October 29 and 30, and we need your help to put food on tables throughout our community.

Annual Fall Luncheon

A lovely afternoon is taking shape! Join your W.O.W. friends at Newberry Hall for lunch, conversation, and a demonstration on creating beautiful fall centerpieces. We’ll also have door prizes; the fall table centerpieces will be given away at the event. You might head home with a little autumn inspiration of your own!

$28 per person

Lunch includes a chicken salad croissant sandwich, house fried potato chips, and fresh fruit. A vegetarian entrée salad is also available, along with Newberry cookies, tea, and coffee.

Members gathered at The Reserve Club on Sept 9th for the W.O.W. Kickoff, featuring four new social clubs and many opportunities to make a difference in the community. The dozen new members who joined W.O.W. that day experienced the energy, enthusiasm and welcoming spirit of our community.
Women of Woodside (W.O.W.) is proud to introduce The Charitable Foundation of Aiken. Created to build upon W.O.W.’s long-standing tradition of community support, the Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides donors with the opportunity to make tax-deductible contributions to designated charitable beneficiaries.
 
Established as a natural extension of W.O.W.’s mission, The Charitable Foundation of Aiken was formed in 2021 to complement and expand the positive impact we make throughout our community. Together, W.O.W. and The Charitable Foundation share a commitment to improving lives across Aiken County while operating as independent organizations. This unique partnership allows both groups to broaden their reach, strengthen community support, and create even greater opportunities for giving.
