Angel Tag Project

A big “thank you” to members of the Women of Woodside for making the Angel Project a success.  Things were done a little bit differently this year on the Angel Project.  The four organizations selected were: The Children’s Place, Inc.Aiken Senior Life ServicesChild Advocacy Center and North Aiken Elementary School.  If you haven’t had a chance to visit our home page, please do so as the photos of children who received the gifts are precious and heartwarming.  Click here.

HO HO Holiday Mail Call

The Honor Mission is once again asking for your help in bringing comfort and joy to our local veterans in nursing homes, home health care and hospice. You can help lift the spirits of our precious veterans by writing cards to ensure they know that they are appreciated and remembered.  The deadline is December 10th – please contact Alice at 703-999-2263 or aisling96@verizon.net.

Book Club Luncheon

The W.O.W. Book Club Member Lunch: One book, One Book Club will be held on January 26, 2022 at The Reserve Club.  Doors open at 11:30am, lunch is served at 12 noon.  Reservations required – click here to reserve to make online or mail-in reservations.

Angel Tag Project

Christmas at Hopelands Gardens

W.O.W. Winter Luncheon  

The W.O.W. Winter Luncheon will be held on February 11th.   The keynote speaker is Jane Jenkins Herlong, an American humorist, author, speaker and the winner of the Miss South Carolina 1979 pageant.  Click Flyer Winter Luncheon for more information.

W.O.W. Spelling Bee

The fundraiser will be held on March 9, 2022 at The Reserve Club.  John Malloy will emcee this event of eight spellers who have committed to raise $1500 for lifelines.  This event will also include a night of donations, and a silent auction.    For more information, click here:  Spelling Bee

This event is scheduled for Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Odell Weeks.  New, this year, will be a W.O.W. table for those of us who don’t have enough treasures for our own table.  All proceeds from the W.O.W. tables will be donated to the Cumbee Center.  For more information, click here:  Trash and Treasures
